Generative art begins first with computer code. The code merges algorithms, automation, variables, and randomness to generate line drawings. I then translate the digital realm into the physical realm by sending the line drawings to my drawing robot, which then draws my digital creation onto real paper with real ink. While it may appear that every drawing is identical, I can assure you that each one is still a unique work with its own slight imperfections due to the fluctuations in how ink and paper interact.
